Empowerment of people left from acid attack: a step towards dignity
The session led by Sahira Singh was one of the most powerful moments of the evening, focusing on supporting women who survived the acid attacks. The Kisan Trust provided financial assistance to these women. This step confirms the commitment of the trust to help these women live their lives with dignity, confidence and freedom.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Nadda emphasized that women empowerment is necessary for the creation of a progressive society. He talked about equal opportunities, financial inclusion and policy changes for women.

Charu Singh, a trustee of Kisan Trust, gave an inspiring message on the importance of inclusive talks: “Such panel discussions and conversations are often limited to big cities and are held in English in most cases. 2. Digitalization and economic empowerment of women
The second panel discussion highlighted how the technology game-changer could make women financially independent. The discussion emphasized on empowering women, especially rural women, through financial and digital literacy. The importance of digital devices in entrepreneurship and financial stability was also discussed. Experts also discussed the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in digital divide, responsible digital use and new opportunities for women.
