Lucknow Demolition News: There is a plan to build Kukrail River Front on the banks of Kukrail River in Lucknow. For this reason, LDA is running bulldozers on the houses, shops and flats built within a radius of 50 meters on the banks of Kukrail river. Around 1400 houses including Akbarnagar Phase 1 and 2 have been demolished. After that now Rahim Nagar is moving towards Khurram Nagar. Here also the Irrigation Department has conducted a survey in which red marks have been placed on about 1000 houses. LDA is recording the details of the owners of these houses and they are being informed about the same.
After Akbar Nagar, Kukrail is coming under the purview of River Front. In the survey conducted in Rahim Nagar, Khurram Nagar, Indraprastha Nagar, Pant Nagar, Abrar Nagar, about 1000 houses have come under JD. The Irrigation Department had started a survey at these places with the help of Global Positioning System. According to the survey team, after Akbar Nagar, all the houses left and within 50 meters of the flow of Kukrel River from Ibrahim Nagar will be demolished. This action will be taken within a radius of two kilometers along the river bank. In this, bulldozers will run on about 1000 houses.
LDA will issue notice to those doing illegal construction
After the completion of the survey of the Irrigation Department, LDA has started the survey of illegally constructed houses from today. Five teams have been formed for this. During this survey, details including the name of the owner of each house and the names of his family members are being recorded. In this, along with LDA, administration and municipal corporation officials have also been made members.
After collecting the details, LDA will issue notice to those doing illegal construction. A period will be given in the notice in which people will have to demolish their illegal construction themselves and if people do not demolish their illegal construction within this period, then the LDA itself will demolish it.
âWe will not allow the house to be demolished.â
During the survey, local people rallied and said that they would not allow their houses to be demolished. During this time, the local people have also formed a struggle committee, in which it has been decided that they will fight their battle with strength. People said that along with the papers of their land, they also have the rejected filing and hence they are not wrong.
