Janmashtami Laddu-Gopal birth method

Every year on Janmashtami some people also celebrate the birth of Lord Shri Krishna. According to beliefs, Kanha ji is born with the help of stalked cucumber. After Ashtami Tithi, the stalk of the cucumber is cut and the child form of Lord Shri Krishna i.e. the idol of Laddu Gopal is placed in the cucumber, then it is covered with the cut part of the cucumber. At the same time, Lord Shri Krishna is born in the auspicious time of Ashtami and Rohini Nakshatra at midnight. With the help of a coin, the cucumbers are separated from the stalk. This is also called umbilical cord piercing. After birth, the stalked cucumber is separated from the stalk in the same way as the baby is separated from the umbilical cord after coming out of the womb. After the birth of the Lord, Laddu Gopal is taken out of cucumber.
