Operation Sindoor: Army videos show Indian strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan

New Delhi:

India has released several videos, which showed its security forces who striking terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) in the early hours of Wednesday, allegedly killed 70 militants. Nine terrorist camps associated with groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) and Hizbul Mujahideen were targeted and destroyed under the ‘Operation Sindoor’ on 22 April to avenge the deadly attack in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

During the strike, one of the first goals, which began at around 1:04 pm and wandered till 1:30 pm, had a Markz Abbas terrorist camp in Kotli in Poke. The army said that it was a major training infrastructure for “Nerve Center for Training Suicide Bombers of Lashkar-e-Tabiba (Late) and more than 50 terrorists.

Another video of the 25-minute strike destroys India in the Gulappur camp in Kotli, which is about 30 km from the Lashkar-e-Tabiba Base Control Line (LoC). Officials said terrorists who attended the April 2023 Poonch attack – in which five army personnel died – and June 2024 Pilgrim bus attack – in which nine people died – were trained in the Gulfur camp, officials said.

Sarjal camps at Sialkot, 6 km from the international border, were also destroyed in attacks. Officials said that in March, the terrorists who killed four Jammu and Kashmir police personnel were trained at this place.

India also targeted letters in Jame headquarters in Bahawalpur and Muridke in Punjab, Pakistan.

While at a distance of 100 km from the international border, Bahawalpur saw the top terrorists consecutively, there was a camp where Ajmal Kasab was one of the terrorists behind the attacks of Mumbai, killing 166 people in 2008, and David Headley, the mastermind of the attacks took training.

The Mahmoon Jaya Camp in Sialkot, which is about 12 to 18 km from the international border, was also destroyed. Officials said it was associated with Hizbul Mujahideen and was “Control for Spreading Terror” in the Kathua-Jamu region.

Addressing a press conference on ‘Operation Sindoor’ with Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said it is considered “necessary” that criminals and planners of the Pahalgam attack – in which 26 people were killed – were brought for justice.

He said that these tasks were “measured, non-esclery, proportional and responsible” and the terrorist infrastructure was focused on “disrupting” and the possibility of the terrorists being sent to India was disabled, he said.

“Despite passing after the attacks despite a fortnight, there is no protestor step to take action against the terrorist infrastructure from Pakistan against the infrastructure or its control over the region. Instead, it all refuses and alleged,” said Mr. Misri.

He said, “Our intelligence surveillance of Pakistan-based terrorist modules indicated that further attacks against India were adjacent. Thus there was a compulsion to stop both and to ensure,” he said.
