Prime Minister Narendra Modi has postponed visits to Norway, Croatia and Netherlands, people familiar with the matter told NDTV, the Indian armed forces on Wednesday launched accurate attacks on the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan in a military operation.
The step titled ‘Operation Sindoor’ by the PM is in response to Pahalgam Terror Attack two weeks ago, claiming the lives of 26 citizens. Indian forces targeted a total of nine terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and POK, a spokesman of the Ministry of Defense said on the social media platform x.

Operation Sindoor was a three-service operation which included all three wings of the armed forces, including the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy, NDTV. Coordinated missile strikes were carried out by the three forces. The Indian Army said in its statement that the strike was executed with accuracy only to hit terrorist bases. No Pakistani military facility was targeted, it was claimed.
According to NDTV, forces used Kamikes drones – also known as the ammunition – weapons designed to crash in a target, usually carry a warhead.
The terrorists targeted by Indian forces were located in Kotli, Muzaffarpur, Gulappur, Bhimber, Chakmaru, Muridke, Sialkot and Bahlpur.
India reached several major countries including the US, Russia, UK and Saudi Arabia in early Wednesday and informed them about the military strike on nine terrorist goals in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied- Kashmir, sources. PTI,
“I am closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan,” said US Secretary Marco Rubio, as he emerged on President Donald Trump’s comments before today, “Hope” hopefully ended “. He said that the US would continue to “attach both Indian and Pakistani leadership for a peaceful resolution”.
