Last year at the global launch of the Oppo Find X8 series, Oppo’s top-end ultra model was missing. Like other Chinese smartphone brands, Oppo also refused to bring its high-end ultra model to the global market, even if it lets us review the X7 Ultra last year. Oppo’s approach has not changed this year. Next to the launch of Find X8 Ultra in China on April 10, we know that this phone is not going towards global markets, but a China will be exclusive. Regardless, we have some details about its hardware specifications at the end because the phone is listed on tenaa and seem worthy of the ‘Ultra’ tag.

Find Oppo X8 Ultra Design (Leake)
According to images on the TENAA website, Find X8 looks similar to Ultra Oppo Find X8 and finds the X8 Pro launched at the end of last year. However, unlike the Find X7 Ultra, its performance is flat and therefore its design appears close to Find X8 than the pro model. The rear panel also appears to receive a metal frame with a circular camera module placed on flat glass and a metal frame with round edges.
Although it does not appear unique as the design of X7 Ultra, it is listed to obtain an IP68/69 rating for dust and water, which is an improvement. According to the listing, the phone should also get magnetic wireless charging. Hopefully, it will be made in the device, and does not require a case to act.
Find X8 Ultra is listed to be available in Starry Black, Moonlight White and Morning Light Finnish at the launch. Oppo will also offer a new action button -like physical button with ultra model.
Find Oppo X8 Ultra specifications (leaks)
Coming to the specifications, Find X8 Ultra is listed for a 6.82-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,168 x 1,440 pixel resolution. It is similar to the panel of Find X7 Ultra, just that the new one appears to be a flat and not curved. According to TENAA, an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint reader in this display.
The device is listed to operate by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC, which is different from Find X8 and is the X8 Pro model found that is powered by the MediaTek SOCS. Find X8 Ultra will be allegedly introduced in China in 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB storage options. The device will also be available in a special satellite communication version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
The phone is said to have a 50-megapixel Sony Lyt-900 primary camera (with OIS), 50-megapixel Samsung JN5, Ultravide Camera, A 50-Megapixel Sony Lyt-700, 3x periscope camera, a 50-megapixel Sony Lyt-600, 6x Parisopa Camera and another 2-Sagapixel. The selfie is said to be controlled by a 32-megapixel camera.
Oppo discovery X8 Ultra is said to pack a 6,100mAh battery, which is much larger than one on the previous model. This will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The device will boot Android 15 with Oppo’s Coloros.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra is expected to be declared in China on April 10 with Find X8 and Find X8.
