Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday determined the third part of the BJP declaration for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections on 5 February.
The party has announced several promises, including refugee colonies to provide ownership rights to people to reopen 13,000 seal shops in the national capital.
Addressing the incident, Amit Shah said, “Modi ji has announced to give ownership rights to more than 1,700 unauthorized colonies. Earlier, these colonies did not have permission to build, buy or sell. Aligning with the Ministry of Deputy Court of Delhi, we will give them the right to build and sell them. “
“13,000 shops in Delhi have been sealed, and we have worked with lawyers to find a legal way to reopen them. We will create a judicial authority and six months to resume operations These shops will be reopening. Refugee colonies that have been established since 1947, such as Rajendra Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and Kingsway Camp, are currently on lease.
The Home Minister also announced the establishment of a labor welfare board in Delhi, which will ensure that all workers have life insurance coverage of up to 10 lakh and accident insurance up to 5 lakhs.
“We will implement the same formula for textile workers. We will provide Rs 10,000 as assistance to workers, and for registered workers, we will offer loans up to 3 lakhs to increase skills and businesses,” he said.
He further said that the BJP will provide 50,000 government employment to the youth of Delhi without any corruption.
“And by creating 20 million self-employment opportunities, we will help the youth find employment. Through investment of 20,000 crores, we will develop an integrated public transport network and convert 13,000 buses into electric buses, allowing Delhi to Delhi 100% electric bus will make the city under the BJP government, “he said.
He also underlined that to promote tourism, he would cooperate with the Governments of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to build a Mahabharata corridor.

The Union Home Minister also recalled BJP’s promises from his earlier two manifestos.
He said, “For every pregnant woman, we will provide financial assistance of Rs 12,000 and give six nutrition kits. LPG cylinders will be available for Rs 500, and BJP will provide a free LPG cylinder to every sister on Holi and Diwali. Ayushman India Scheme, we will provide free treatment to every poor person in the first cabinet meeting, even in major hospitals.
He also mentioned that the BJP government will increase the pension for senior citizens from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 per month.
He said, “For the welfare of women, we will increase the pension for widows and destitute women from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000 per month. We will install Atal canteen in JJ Cluster, which will provide nutritious food for just Rs 5,” He said.
“We will give a corruption-free and transparent state government. Students of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will receive Rs 1,000 per month under Ambedkar Space Scheme. Auto and taxi drivers will get 10 lakh life insurance and 5 lakh accident insurance. Welfare board will be installed for domestic workers, and we will provide six months payment maternity leave to mothers.
The Delhi Assembly elections will be held in the same phase on 5 February. The votes will be counted on 8 February.
Three-way competition is expected between the ruling AAP, BJP and Congress in Delhi. The AAP won 62 out of 70 seats and dominated the 2020 assembly elections, while the BJP won eight seats. The Congress, which was in power in Delhi for 15 consecutive years, has faced failures in the last two assembly elections and has failed to win any seat.
