Pahgam Terror Attack: Nia asked people to share photos, videos for investigation

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday appealed to all tourists, visitors and locals who may have any more information, photos or videos related to the Pahalgam terror attack to contact immediately.

Officials said the investigating agency has already captured a large number of photographs and videos, showing various aspects of the attack and investigating them, the officials said.

Nia, who is officially in charge of the investigation in the terrorist attack, said to the attackers and their modus operandi to fully explore the material to find any possible clues, he said.

Officials said that tourists and other people can be seen, heard or clicked, advertising or unknowingly, which can help Nia expose the conspiracy behind the unprecedented attack on tourists in Kashmir.

The NIA said in a statement, “Now it has decided to increase its efforts more intensity to ensure that no useful information or evidence is remembered in investigating the frightening crime against humanity.”

The NIA has urged all such people to call the agency and share information on 96-54-958-816 and/or 011- 24368800.

The statement said that a senior NIA officer will join the caller and arrange to share relevant information/photos/videos etc. with the agency.

Several photos and videos are found in various social media platforms after the terrorist attack in Bairsran in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 tourists and injured several on April 22, 2025.

The statement said that the NIA teams are camping to check the attack site for evidence in Pahgam and are also questioning the witnesses of frightening crime.
