Pradosh Vrat in Pitru Paksha: According to Pt. Ribhukant Goswami, Pradosh Vrat will be observed on Monday, 30th September in the month of Ashwin. Therefore it will be called Pradosh Vrat. Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will start on 29th September at 04:47 PM and Pradosh Vrat will end on 30th September at 07:06 PM.
Bhadrakal: At the same time, Bhadra Kaal will start from 07:06 pm on 30th September. Which will end on October 01 at 06:14 am.
Auspicious Yoga: Auspicious yoga and Shukla yoga will be formed on the day of Som Pradosh fast.
Worship method of Pradosh fast:
Wake up early in the morning on the day of Pradosh fast.
Wear clean clothes after bathing.
Meditate on Lord Shiva and take a pledge to fast.
Clean the temple.
Spread a red or yellow cloth on a small stool.
