President Draupadi Murmu has been scheduled to attend the ongoing Maha Kumbh festival to visit Prayagraj on Monday, where he will take a sacred dip in Triveni Sangam.
The President will spend more than eight hours in the city, experience the spiritual and cultural significance of this incident.
Along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, President Murmu will start his day at Triveni Sangam, where she will take a formal dip at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and the Puranic Saraswati rivers.
After the holy dip, the President will visit the revered Akshayavat tree, which will symbolize eternal life in Sanatan culture, and offer prayers.
The tree holds a deep place in Hinduism, which is mentioned as a symbol of immortality and divine presence in ancient scriptures. She will also visit the main bed Hanuman temple to pray for the prosperity and welfare of the country.
In addition to his religious busyness, President Murmu will detect the Digital Maha Kumbh Experience Center. This innovative feature uses advanced technology to provide a virtual experience of the Kumbh Mela, providing a detailed insight into the event for both domestic and international audiences.
In the light of the President’s visit, strict security arrangements have been made across the city.
President Murmu’s visit to the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad runs on the footsteps, who also took a holy dip during the previous Kumbh.
The President will return to New Delhi by 5:45 pm, which will mark the conclusion of his journey of Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
His journey will be a historical and inspiring moment, not only for prayer, but also to increase the religious, cultural and spiritual significance of Maha Kumbh for devotees across the country.
