Rajasthan Board Exam: 300 centers will be monitored through CCTV cameras, security arrangements will be tight


Jaipur. During the Board of Secondary Education examinations to be held across the state from March 5 to April 3, 300 centers will be monitored through CCTV cameras. Videography of sensitive and highly sensitive centers will also be done. Micro observers will be appointed at the examination centers of private schools. Extra vigilance will be taken regarding confidentiality in the examination. This time 20,56,552 registered candidates will appear in the board examinations.

A meeting of the High Powered Examination Committee was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Education Shri Govind Singh Dotasara. Dotasara said that RESMA will remain in force during the examinations. Flying squads will be formed in the districts under the leadership of Tehsildar level officers. The Board’s Higher Secondary (Vocational) and Senior Higher Secondary examinations will start on March 5. It will end on 3rd April. Similarly, regional examinations will start on March 12 and end on March 24.

62 sensitive and 30 hypersensitive examination centers
The Education Minister said that 8,65,895 candidates have been registered for the Higher Secondary Examination, 11,79,830 for the Secondary Examination and 6,978 for the Entrance Examination. 5,674 examination centers have been set up across the state for the examination. Of these, 62 sensitive and 30 hypersensitive examination centers have been identified.

Special attention will be kept in these districts
To ensure confidentiality along with a transparent process of examinations, about 300 centers including all sensitive, highly sensitive examination centers and 60 answer sheet collection and distribution centers in the state will be monitored by CCTV cameras. Videography will also be specially done at all the examination centers of Dausa, Karauli, Sikar, Nagaur, Jhunjhunu, Sawai Madhopur, Jodhpur and Barmer districts (except the centers equipped with CCTV cameras). The detailed schedule of examinations has been released earlier. The Minister of State for Education said that no negligence of any kind will be tolerated during the examination.
