New Delhi. Samsung Galaxy Ring has finally been officially launched during the second edition of Galaxy Unpacked. This ring has been launched with the latest Galaxy Z foldable smartphones. The South Korean brand’s first smart ring has been introduced with various health tracking and sleep monitoring features and is available in three finishes with sizes up to 13. The Galaxy Ring weighs between 2.3 grams to 3.0 grams and is water-resistant. According to the company’s claim, it will give a battery life of up to seven days on a single charge.
Samsung Galaxy Ring is priced at $399 (approximately Rs 34,000) and will be available for pre-order in select markets from July 10 and will go on sale from July 24. It is available in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold color options.

Specifications and features of Samsung Galaxy Ring
Galaxy Ring is available in nine sizes ranging from five to 13. This wearable device will be offered with a sizing kit that will help you find the right fit from nine size options. It has 8MB of memory and is equipped with a PPG (photoplethysmography) sensor that allows users to detect irregular heartbeats. It includes a temperature sensor and accelerometer that gives wearers insights into their well-being. It works with Samsung Health app.
Like Samsung’s recent Galaxy devices, the Galaxy Ring also features Galaxy AI Touch. With Galaxy AI features like Energy Score and Wellness Tips, the Galaxy Ring generates a detailed health report with different metrics and provides recommendations to the wearer. It features sleep AI algorithms to provide data about sleep patterns and create better habits. Along with sleep score and snoring analysis, the wearable provides sleep metrics such as movement during sleep, sleep latency, and heart and respiratory rates. Along with cycle tracking, menstrual cycle can also be tracked through the ring.
Samsung Galaxy Ring will also provide instant alerts about heartbeats through Heart Rate Alert through Samsung Health app. Auto workout detection and inactive alert are also present on the device. Additionally, Ring can be used to take a photo or turn off an alarm on a paired Galaxy smartphone with a few taps. Users can also find the location of the Galaxy Ring through their Galaxy smartphone with Find My Ring on Samsung Find.
This wearable device is water and sweat resistant with IP68 rating and is certified for 10 ATM water resistance. It has a titanium grade 5 build and offers Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Galaxy Ring can be paired with Samsung Galaxy smartphones running Android 11.0 or above and minimum 1.5GB memory. Its battery is 361mAh and it can be charged from 0 to 40 percent in 30 minutes.
