Bihar News: Sinheshwar Dham and Baba Vishu Raut fair of Madhepura district of Bihar have got the status of ‘State Fair’. This was announced by Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal after reaching Sinheshwar Dham on Thursday.
Dilip Jaiswal participated in the worship at Sinheshwar temple. Expressing happiness, he said that Sinheshwar Fair and Baba Vishu Raut Fair have been given the status of ‘State Fair’. The Revenue Department has declared a state fair and allocated a total of Rs 19.50 lakh. An amount of Rs 15 lakh has been allocated for Shravani Mela at Sinheshwar place and Rs 4.50 lakh has been allocated for Baba Vishu Raut Dham Chausa.
Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal had reached Sinheshwar Dham.
Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal said that after separation of Jharkhand, Sinheshwar Dham temple has its own importance. Sinheshwar is considered the second Baidyanath Dham temple for Bihar. The Revenue Department had announced a special package for some Baba’s Dhams of Bihar regarding the Shravani Fair, which are listed in the government list. After this he came to know that the name of Sinheshwar place was not there in it. Many people had demanded for this.
There is an ancient belief about Sinheshwar Dham.
Let us tell you that there is a very ancient temple of Mahadev in Sinheshwar under Madhepura district. It is believed that Sinheshwar was established by Lord Vishnu himself. Earlier, the list of Shravani fair to be organized at 14 places in the state was released, in which the name of Sinheshwar Dham was not there.
