Researchers at Ben-Gurian University in Negev have developed a machine-learning algorithm that can increase our understanding of human biology and disease. The new method, weighted graph anomalas node detection (WGE), takes inspiration from social network analysis and is designed to identify proteins with important roles in various human tissues.
