Sony Has Launched a Unified Beta Testing Program for PS5 and PC Games

Sony on Tuesday announced a beta test program for PS5 and PC Games and other PlayStation experiences. Playstation will have a centralized platform to register for the initiative of the beta program, future playstation games, PS5 features, playstation app features and more for users. Registrations for the program are now live, and players can sign up to register their interest in any upcoming Playstation Betas.

Beta Program in PlayStation, revealed on Playstation blog Tuesday, users will provide a consolidated way to express their interest in various beta experiences of the future. While Sony has conducted personal beta tests for sports and experiences on its stage in the past, the new program will bring an integrated hub for beta testers. Users will only have to register in the program once to get beta access for games, console features and more.

The announcement stated, “The beta program in Playstation will create an easy, centralized place for you to register your interest in a range of future Playstation Betas.” “A single registration for the beta program in PlayStation will allow you to express interest in obtaining beta access to test the Parts for user experience facilities at PS5 console and PC, new PS5 console features, and even Playstation.com.”

Once players sign up in the program, they can choose to participate in a specific beta if they get an invitation. To register for the new beta program, players must have a valid Playstation Network (PSN) account, live in a supported area and meet the field-specific age requirements.

It is worth noting that signing up just for beta testing does not guarantee the invitation for a specific beta due to the sheer volume of players.
