Telangana Revenue Minister Pongulet Srinivasa Reddy was seen publicly baking Karimnagar District Collector Pamela Satpathy, questioning the “general knowledge” in front of the crowd. Another Minister of State was also seen talking to the District Collector.
The incident took place in the presence of BJP MP captive Sanjay Kumar and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who were in Karimnagar to start government programs.
Troubled by the Telangana ministers, which they saw as insufficient security arrangements, they directed their anger in the District Collector.
Ms. Satpathi was blindly shaken, the off-guards were caught by the public performance of enmity.
Many people posted on social media that the incident showed a lapse in professionalism on behalf of the state leaders and expressed concern over the treatment of women in the positions of power.
While Manohar Lal Khattar was inaugurating a water supply system, Mr. Reddy was pushed on one side by the police. Subsequently, Mr. Reddy expressed anger at the collector and turned his hands on him.
“Do you not have general knowledge? What are you doing? What is this nonsense? Where is the Superintendent of Police?” The Telangana Minister said.
Due to the Union Minister’s visit, the police completely closed the Housing Board area. Shri Khattar also addressed a public meeting at the mini stadium in the colony after inaugurating the water supply system.
Various routes of areas, hotels, grocery stores and other business establishments were closed since morning. The Union Minister, a multipurpose park, Dr. Bribedkar Stadium Complex and Smart School of Kumarawadi High School were also inaugurated.
Union Minister of State for State Minister Bandhi Sanjay Kumar, Transport Minister Ponam Prabhakar, local MLA Gangula Kamaller, Mayor Y Sunil Rao and others of Karimnagar participated in the program.
