Officials said the 69 -year -old Pakistani National, who was to be sent back to his nation, died of cardiac arrest here on Wednesday.
Abdul Wahid was brought from Srinagar to Jammu and Kashmir Police for repatriation in Pakistan.
He said that he had been living in India for the last 17 years and was found by the police with a one -time ended visa.
Meanwhile, a total of 224 Indian citizens and Pakistani citizens who were not compulsory to return to India (NORI) visa, crossed the Attari border through the Integrated Check Post (ICP) in India. A total of 139 Pakistani citizens crossed the other side.

He said, “I have crossed India from Pakistan in fear of fear that ICP can stop at any time. I belong to a Hindu family and married a Hindu person in Vijayawada about nine years ago. My in -laws and husbands of Vijayawada were waiting here to get me.” He said, “I crossed India at 3 pm, where it took about three hours for customs and immigration withdrawal. It was difficult for children traveling with my mothers to wait for all the necessary approval due to the scorching heat.”
Before leaving for Vijayawada, my family members and I will visit the Golden Temple, he said.
