Three capsbars (hydrochurus hydroxyris) died from Rabies on the island of Ubatuba, Sao Paulo State, Brazil between December 2019 and January 2020. One was found to be dead, and two were performed by the nivalim paralysis before dying. Rabies encephalitis was the cause of death by analyzing his brain at Instituteo Pasteur in Sao Paulo City.
