New Delhi. The shipment of trains from Tesla -based Tesla’s factory has fallen below the 7th consecutive month. Tesla sent out a total of 58459 units of Model 3 sedan and model Y Sports Utility Vehicle last month from his Shanghai factory. This is happening at a time when the demand for electric and hybrid cars in China has seen a boom. According to a report by Bloomberg, in April, the sale of such cars inside China has increased by 42 per cent to 11.4 lakhs.
The problem of low sales with Tesla is not coming only in China. But the major reason behind its decline of sales in China is byd. The company that did not even know any name until a few years ago. On the question related to BYD, Musk said in an interview a few years ago that this company cannot compete with them. Significantly, in April, BYD has released its best sales figures for 2025. It is possible that this company will also comfortably meet the target of delivery of 55 lakh cars of its year.

Charlie Mangar’s hand
BYD is blessed by Berkshire Hathaway’s top leadership Warren Buffet. It was Buffet’s Aziz Diwant partner Charlie Mangar who bought BYD shares for Berkshire Hathaway for the first time in 2008. He then bet on 22 crore shares of this Chinese EV company. Today, Berkshire Hathaway has about 8 percent stake in BYD. Charlie Mangar was so happy with this purchase that he had told it the best thing he did for Berkshire Hathaway.
Tesla crisis throughout Europe
April 2025 proved to be extremely disappointing in Europe for Tesla, where there was a major decline in company car sales in major markets such as UK, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and Spain. In the UK, Tesla registered only 512 vehicles, which are 62% less than last year, while the sales in Germany declined by 46% to 885 units. In countries such as Denmark, Sweden and Netherlands, sales fell by two-thirds, while Spain was 36% less. The special thing is that when the demand for electric vehicles of other companies is increasing, Tesla’s sales continued to decline, and this was the fourth consecutive month in Germany when the decline continued. Since the beginning of the year, Tesla’s sales in Germany have decreased by 60%, due to the introduction of the production of the new model Y SUV, there was a hindrance in delivery due to line changes in factories.
