Ski wax with chemicals has been found to pollute the remote mountain slopes.
The French Parliament on Thursday voted in the Alpine nation to limit the production and sale of some items including “Forever Chemicals” including cosmetics, most of the clothes and ski wax.
The lower-house National Assembly carried forward 51 votes by Greens 231 votes, the upper-house Senate gave it a green light last year.
President Emmanuel Macron still needs to sign it in the law.

There are thousands of different PFAs.
From next year, under the rules of the new European Union, member states will have to test their water for 20 types.
But French law may allow to check further types in water if necessary.
