Samsung Galaxy Ring
Samsung has launched its smart ring in the second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year. Samsung had showcased this ring at the Mobile World Congress 2024 held at the beginning of the year. The company had not told about any feature of the ring at that time. However, this smart ring of the company has been in the news since last year. This smart ring of the South Korean company comes with many health sensors, through which users can track their health.
This Galaxy Ring of South Korean company is more expensive than smart rings of other brands. In this, the company has given many health features, which include sleep monitoring, heart rate, snoring tracking, respiratory tracking, periods tracking etc. This ring of Samsung comes in 9 different finger sizes, which users can buy according to the size of their fingers.
Galaxy Ring price
The price of Galaxy Ring is $399 i.e. approximately Rs 34,000. It will be made available for pre-order in select markets from 10th July i.e. today itself. Its sale will start on 24th July. This smart ring will be available for sale in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold color options.
What is special in Galaxy Ring?
This smart ring of Samsung comes in sizes ranging from 5 to 13. It has 8MB storage. Apart from this, it has been provided with PPG i.e. Photoplethysmography sensor, which tracks the abnormal heartbeats of the users. Apart from this, temperature sensor and accelerometer sensor will also be available in it. This ring can be accessed through Samsung’s Health app.
Like its smartphones, Samsung has also provided AI feature in wearable devices. This smart ring supports Galaxy AI Touch feature. Apart from this, features like energy score and wellness tips will be available in it. Users can issue their health reports on different metrics with the help of Ring.
Features like workout detection, passive alert are available in Galaxy Ring. Not only this, this smart ring has IP68 rating, due to which it will not get damaged even if immersed in water. It has 10 ATM water resistant feature. Titanium grade 5 material has been used in it.
This ring supports Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity feature. It has 1.5GB storage. However, the larger size ring will have a 23.5mAh battery. This ring of Samsung comes with 18mAh battery. To charge it, a charging case with 361mAh battery is available. The company claims that the battery of this ring will last for 7 days on a single charge.
