Nothing can compete with the cold air of AC. People think that what is the use of AC in rainy season, but in monsoon its fun increases even more. This is because the moisture in the air increases a lot during the rainy season, which causes stickiness. Humidity also increases in sticky weather, due to which we do not find the fan air to be as cold during the rainy season. Now when we are talking about running AC in rainy season, very few people would know that there is a special mode ‘Dry Mode’ available in AC for the rainy season.
Dry mode is a special function available in AC which is used during rainy days. This is because the humidity level is very high during rainy days and this mode keeps the room environment cool and dry by drying the air. Dry mode of AC works like a dehumidifier by removing moisture from the indoor air. Dry Mode works to refresh the air in humid weather.

This mode automatically turns the air conditioner’s compressor on and off for a short period of time, while the fan continues to run at a low speed.
The slow speed of the fan works to cool the evaporator coil. This causes the moisture in the air to get compressed and collects in the drain pan of the unit.
The function of dry mode is to dry the air instead of reducing the temperature of the room, which makes your room more pleasant and comfortable.

Low power consumption too…
Dry mode uses less power than cool mode because it focuses less on cooling and reducing humidity.
For people who are particularly allergic to mold, dust, and other allergens, excessive humidity can worsen asthma and allergy symptoms. Dry mode takes care of these things by reducing the moisture in the air.
