A one-day validity tourist card is priced at Rs 200, of which Rs 50 is refundable, and a three-day tourist card is priced at Rs 500. This card also includes a refundable security deposit of Rs 50. This tourist card can be used unlimited times at all metro stations except the Airport Express Line.

Tourists can also download the official app (DMRC App) of ‘Delhi Metro Rail’ to plan their journey. The app also includes a dedicated section called ‘Tour Guide’ on the home page. In this, tourists can see the list of all the stations around any tourist place in Delhi.

Delhi Metro is closely connected to practically all the main tourist attractions of Delhi including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Akshardham Temple and Kalkaji Temple. Meanwhile, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday, June 30, said that more than half of the work on three major lines for the Delhi Metro Phase IV expansion project has been completed.

“The Phase 4 expansion project is progressing rapidly to launch all three priority routes, totaling 65 km additional lines, by 2026,” DMRC officials said.

“At present, more than 50 per cent progress has been made on all three corridors.
