The UGC-NET exam will be held from 21 June to 30, 2025.
The window to apply for UGC NET 2025 registration is being closed today according to a release posted on the University Grants Commission website. document It is said that submission of online application form should be done on May 7, 2025 till 11.59 pm. The last date for submission of examination fee is 8 May and applicants can improve their online application form by 10 May. The examination is conducted by the UGC by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The UGC-NET exam is to be conducted according to the release of UGC in 85 subjects from June 21 to 30, 2025.

- Log on to the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in
- Click on the link that says ‘application form’
- Click ‘New Registration’
- Enter the required details to complete the registration
- Please note, candidates will have to upload scanned passport size photos (in JPEG format) and signature
- Pay UGC net application fee
- Save and submit the form
- Download confirmation page
The UGC document states that candidates can apply for UGC-NET June 2025 only through online mode and that application form will not be accepted in any other mode.
It should also be noted that candidates are not allowed to fill more than one application form.
