Vivo Y300i 5G Launch Date Confirmed; Design, Colourways Teased

The Vivo Y300i 5G was recently seen at a certification site suggesting several major specifications. The company has also announced the launch date of the handset in China. The design and color options of the upcoming phone have also been teased. They correspond to the designs and colorvez seen on the certification database. Vivo Y300i is expected to succeed Vivo Y200i, which was launched in China in April 2024.

Vivo Y300i 5G will be launched in China on March 14, the company confirmed in a Weibo PostIt is said to come up with a thin and mild construction with a collapse resistance “diamond shield glass screen”. The pracharak image also claims that the phone will offer long battery life.

The design of the smartphone seen in promotional images appears to be similar to the design on the certification site.

Vivo Y300i 5G Aadhaar 8GB + 256GB can start for CNY 1,499 (about Rs 18,000) for configuration. It is also expected to be available in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants. The handset can ship with a 6.68-inch HD+ display, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Android 15-based originos 5.

In the camera department, the Vivo Y300i 5G is asked to get a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It is expected to pack a Snapdragon 4 gen 2 chipset with a 6,500mAh battery. The phone will have USB Type-C port and NFC connectivity support.
