Hamas on Saturday released four Israeli hostages in the second phase of a Gaza ceasefire deal in exchange for 200 Palestinian prisoners. The fourth released hostage said, “It will be a happy day, the best day, and we will all be well”.

At the end, all four women can be seen smiling together and saying, “Today is January 25, 2025”.

Four Israeli women were taken captive by Hamas during its attack on October 7, 2023, which killed at least 1,200 people. The IDF also shared several videos and images of women reuniting with their families.

Israel began a six-week ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza on January 19, more than 15 months into a war that has killed more than 47,000 people. In the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire, Hamas released three women in exchange for 90 Palestinian prisoners.
