Bihar Flood: Due to continuous rains in Nepal and Terai region, now the danger of flood is looming with the increase in the water level of Gandak, Budhi Gandak and Bagmati river of Muzaffarpur. The risk of flood has increased in many low lying areas of urban areas, due to which there is an atmosphere of panic among the people. With the rapid increase in the water level of Budhi Gandak river, people in the lower reaches are in panic and are now preparing to migrate to higher places.

Danger of flood looms

Let us tell you that with the continuous increase in the water level in the rivers flowing within the district, including Gandak, Budhi Gandak and Bagmati rivers, there is once again a danger of flood and due to continuous rains, its effect is affecting the surrounding areas of the river. It is starting to affect the people living nearby. After this, due to rapid rise in water level and floods, people are resorting to boats. Along with this, people of Ashram Ghat, Seedhi Ghat and their surrounding areas in urban areas are preparing to migrate with the rise in water level.

People’s lives were disrupted

Local people are taking the help of Jugaad boats to travel. They are demanding the district administration to make arrangements for boats and saying that if the water continues to rise, we will soon vacate the house. At the same time, local woman Chinki Devi said that we are living in fear and there is a danger of snakes, scorpions and other creatures due to floods. At the same time, children’s school has also been affected and during this time children have been stopped from going to school.
