West Bengal class 12th board results: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education declared the results of class 12th today. The 12th board examination was held from March 3 to March 18, 2025, and more than 4.5 lakh students appeared for the examination. Last year, the overall pass percentage for the West Bengal Class 12th board exam was recorded at 90% and this year it has been recorded at 90.79%.

This year, many students scored more than 490 points (out of 500). Here is a list of top 3 performing students.

1. Burdwan CMS High School’s Roopayan Pal secured the first rank in the West Bengal Class 12 Board Examination 2025, with an impressive score of 497 out of 500, which translates up to 99.4%.
2. Tushar Debnath, a student of Bakhhat High School, has secured the second rank in the West Bengal Class 12 Board Examination 2025, with 496 out of 500, which is equal to 99.2%.
3. The Rajarshi officer of Arambagh High School has secured the third position in the West Bengal Class 12 Board Examination 2025, with an impressive score of 495 out of 500, with an amount of 99%.

For science stream, West Bengal 12th Board was noted as overall passing percentage 99.46 for the 12th Board 2025.

The Commerce stream had 97.52 with 88.25 for West Bengal class 12th boards and the passing percentage of Arts stream.

The West Bengal high secondary results are shown to be on top of the list with a percentage of Purba Medinipur 95.74, followed by North 24 Parganas at 93.53, and Kolkata at 93.43. Jalpaiguri received the lowest passing percentage of 82.24.

Over the years, the number of regular school students appearing for the West Bengal class 12th board examination has declined to a great extent, according to the release of boards by 7,17,052 in 2022, 7,93,209 in 2023, 4,73,919 in 2025 in 2025.

This year also, boys improved boys with passing percentage of 92.03 and girls with 88.12 passing percentage.
