Women and children were not banned on the exile flight carrying the second batch of Indian citizens who arrived in Amritsar on 15 February, the sources confirmed ANI.
Meanwhile, the aircraft carrying the third batch of Indian citizens, who had allegedly migrated illegally in the US, also landed at Amritsar Airport on Sunday.
Earlier on Saturday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann assured that the exile would be treated properly and all necessary arrangements were made.
The Chief Minister said that the exile people will stay in Amritsar for a few hours before taking them to their states.
“Our children are the ones who are coming here anyway, so no one can be hungry from here, we will make arrangements. We have made arrangements to live for them too. They will stay here for a few hours and then their respective states Will go to. Earlier on February 5, an American Air Force aircraft that took Indian citizens, who had allegedly moved illegally to America, arrived in Amritsar, Punjab.
