You Can Now See All Your AI-Generated Images in ChatGPT in One Place

Openai will allow users to examine all images generated using artificial intelligence (AI) in the same scene that is rolling a new library feature in the Openai Chatgpt. Announced on Wednesday, the new feature is available in all its interfaces for all registered Chatgpt users. The San Francisco -based AI firm stated that library would serve as a location to browse users and reuse their images, without the need to squeeze through previous conversations. The company will allow users to edit AI-related images through the library.

Chatgpt is getting an image library

The quality-of-life update was announced by Openai’s official handle in one Post On X (East was known as Twitter). The company said that this feature will be available on the free tier of the platform along with chat plus and pro subscribers. It will also be available on the website, desktop apps, as well as mobile apps.

The library can be accessed by selecting the library section on the web and mobile on the left hand sidebar. The library will only show images that were generated using the image of GPT-4O using generation ability, and the heritage images generated using the Dall-E model would not appear according to a support. At the bottom of the library, users will see a “make image” option, which will quickly return to the chat interface to allow users to create more images. Pressing and holding an image in the library will enlarge the image and open it in a new window, and users will also see four new options from the bottom – edit, select, save, and share.

Saving the image downloads it on the user’s device, and sharing allows them to share with friends and family through a third -party social media app. The edit option opens the image in a new chat window with image enclosed in the text box. Users can then add a text prompt to make large editing in the image or use it as a reference to generate new images.

The selection tool adds the ability to edit inline in an image. Users can only highlight parts of the image to edit those elements. On the left, a slider will allow users to change the size of the selection tool. This screen also shows the undo and the redo button, making users the undo the selection. There is a copy option to copy the image on the clipboard of the device.

It should be noted that it is not possible to remove any personal image from the gallery. To not appear an image in the library, users must remove the entire conversation. On the web, this can be done by hovering on the conversation title in the sidebar, clicking on three dots and selecting the removal from the menu. On mobile, users can press and wear the conversation title to see the pop-up menu with deleted options.
