The tiger fell into the well while trying to hunt a wild boar. After the villagers informed the authorities, a rescue operation was launched to recover the likes of the cat from the well.
A cot was launched using ropes in the well, after which the tiger was directed to climb on it. The tiger was rescued after three hours of attempt.
