Sources said that an American military aircraft carrying 104 illegal Indian migrants landed at Shri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.
The flight landed at 1.55 pm.
Sources said that 30 out of 30 people are from Punjab, 33 are from each Haryana and Gujarat, three are from each Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, and two from Chandigarh, sources said.
An official confirmation on the number of deals is awaited.
Earlier reports claimed that the US military aircraft C -17 was carrying 205 illegal immigrants.
This is the first batch of illegal Indian migrants to be deported by the US government.

Many people of Punjab, who spent millions of rupees and entered the US through ‘donkey route’ or other illegal means, are now facing exile.
