On Sunday morning, the Bengaluru police stopped the live street performance of British composer Ed Sheeran in the city, citing a lack of permission by the popular singer-songman.

In one of the clips, Sheeran performed in Bangalore on Saturday night and will once again take stage in the city on Sunday evening – they can be seen reaching the venue with their security personnel, when they cheer the audience Congratulations were given.
“We were going to play more than one song, but we were being asked to play a song,” he said on the microphone, before he started starting the interlude of ‘Shape of You’ on his guitar.
Before he could fulfill the song’s escape, a policeman stepped up and pulled the cables associated with microphone and musical instruments.
A senior police officer at Cuban Park Police Station said that Sheeran was “performing without any permission, so he had to stop”.
