On Sunday morning, the Bengaluru police stopped the live street performance of British composer Ed Sheeran in the city, citing a lack of permission by the popular singer-songman.

A senior police officer at Cuban Park Police Station said that Sheeran was “performing without any permission, so he had to stop”.
