The tax payment of companies of Adani Group to the Government of India increased by about 25% in the financial year 2024 to Rs 58,104, which proved to be one of the country’s largest contributors for the treasury.
The Adani Group has a total global tax and fiscal 2023-24 amount of Rs 58,104.4 crore in the treasury, an increase of Rs 46,610.2 crore in the previous year, a statement has been said in a statement.
Tax payment includes seven Adani group companies: Adani Enterprises Limited, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited, Adani Green Energy Limited, Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Power Limited, Adani Power Limited, Adani Total Gas Limited, and Ambuja Cements Limited Limited.
The statement stated that this figure also includes tax paid by three other listed companies – NDTV Limited, ACC Limited and Sanghi Industries Limited.
