India’s coal imports were flat at 201.30 million tonnes during the April-December period of the ongoing financial year.
According to data compiled by Mjunction Services, a prominent name in the e-auction space, the country’s coal imports were in the 201.52 MT year ago.
Coal imports in December fell to more than 23.35 MT in the same month of the previous financial year to 19.28 Mount. “Import in December 2024 was around 19.28 million tonnes as against 23.35 MT of imported in December 2023,” it said.
