SBI aims to be net-zero by 2055, the Chairman Setty says that


State Bank of India President CS Setty said on Sunday that the largest Indian lender has been targeting net-zero by 2055.

The bank will then celebrate its centenary year of existence, he said.

According to a statement, Setty commented after flagging off the ‘SBI Green Marathon Season 5’ event at Financial Capital.

More than 10,000 runners participated in 5 km, 10 km and 21 km of categories of the program held here.

Similar incidents have been planned in Vizag, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar and Patna.

The statement said that Vinod Kumar Sharma, Baran Kumar, special Krishnaswamy, Ashish Arya, Sarika Jain, Raj Gandhi and Rinku Singh were present in the legends.
