India is not only sending passengers out, it is also welcoming them. In March, 13.2% inbound visa applications are eager to dive into colorful chaos from international tourists, marking Holi tourism 18% year-on-year.
Delhi is the top landing location, in which many are moving forward in Rajasthan, luring Pushkar’s prestigious ceremonies. Many visitors are expanding their trips, using Holi as the right excuse to detect India’s cultural and geographical miracles.
Attles Chief Executive Officer Mohra Nahta said, “This year Holi has made the right landscape to mix the cultural celebration with exploration for travelers.”
“We are looking at an attractive mixture, some applicants want to experience the magic of Holi in the historical cities of India, while others are taking the vibrant soul abroad.
The data also highlighted a comprehensive trend with 55% Holi travel applications, which reflects the rise of tourism associated with the festival. Passengers are merging the holidays continuously with a rapid weekend brake, creating emergent experiences celebrating Holi’s solidarity and happiness.
