The Mumbai Police has issued a public advice to maintain peace and security during Holi, Dhulivandan and Baja Panchami celebrations.
The advisor, which will be effective from Wednesday to next Tuesday, meets restrictions aimed at ensuring smooth and systematic function across the city.
The festival of colors will be celebrated on Friday. Traditionally, Holika Dahan – symbolizes the victory of good over evil – will be on Thursday night.
To prevent public disturbance and ensure security, the Mumbai Police has imposed some restrictions on public behavior during the festival.
