Shaadi-Vivah Muhurat: Navratri festival is celebrated every year in the month of Chaitra and Ashwin. Actually Navratri comes four times in a year. The main Navratras occurring in the months of Chaitra and Ashwin are visible, apart from this there are two more Navratras, which are called Gupt Navratras. This Gupta Navratri falls in the months of Ashadha and Magh.

According to astrologer Vibhor Indusut, the first Gupt Navratri of the year starts from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadha. This time Gupt Navratri will start from Saturday 6th July and will continue till 15th July. During Gupt Navratri period, reciting Durga Chalisa and Durga Saptashati in front of Mother Goddess every morning brings special blessings of Mother Goddess. According to astrologer Vibhor Indusut, Chaturmas begins after Gupt Navratri. This time, Chaturmas will start from Devshayani Ekadashi on 17th July till 11th November. Due to it being Devshayani, especially auspicious marital functions or marriage rituals are not performed in Chaturmas.

Auspicious date for marriage in July

In July, marriage auspicious times will be present on 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 17th July, but after Dev Shayan on 17th July, there will be no marriage auspicious time for the next four months. After Chaturmas, the auspicious marriage auspicious dates in November are 17, 18, 23, 25, 27, 27, 28, and in December – 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14.
