New Delhi. The chaos in Pakistan cricket is not showing any signs of stopping. Be it captain Babar Azam or the team selector, everyone is on target. Two selectors have even been dismissed. Meanwhile, a case of the team’s biggest bowler Shaheen Afridi is also being investigated, in which he is accused of misbehaving with coach Gary Kirsten and the team management.
According to the report of Geo TV, Pakistan Cricket Board is investigating the behavior of Shaheen Afridi during the T20 World Cup. The board is investigating why no action was taken against Shaheen Afridi in the said incident. Gary Kirsten of South Africa was the coach of the Indian team in 2011. Under his guidance the Indian team became world champion.
This case of Shaheen Afridi came to light after the removal of Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq from the post of selectors. After being removed from the post, Wahab Riaz made a long post on social media. In this he said that he does not want to get involved in any allegations and counter-allegations. But the reality is that every selector had equal voting rights. Therefore it is not right to target any one person.
Shahid Afridi’s serious allegations against Babar
Shahid Afridi has accused PCB of giving excessive chances to Babar Azam. He said, ‘They (PCB) should take a decision on the captain or coach. As far as Babar is concerned, we have also captained a lot and the captain never got so many opportunities. As soon as the World Cup ends, the blame is placed on the captain. 2-3 World Cups, 2-3 Asia Cups, Babar Azam has got a lot of opportunities.
