The Chief Accountant Department, which is Finance or Treasury, received the next biggest allocation. The allocated revenue expenditure was Rs 1,107.90 crore and capital expenditure was Rs 0.03 crore, with a total of Rs 1,107.93 crore.
In this budget, Rs 21.32 crore was assigned to capital expenditure in the Department of Mechanical and Electricity. No revenue expenditure is allocated for this department.
Along with revenue expenditure of Rs 11.95 crore, capital expenditure of Rs 0.13 crore has also been allocated to departments related to general administration and ward management. According to the budget, the total allocation towards the general administration is Rs 12.08 crore.
A total of Rs 10.35 crore has been allocated by the BMC to the evaluator and collector department. This amount has been allocated for revenue expenditure in this department.
The Municipal Secretary Department received an allocation of Rs 0.18 crore under revenue expenditure, in which there was no allocation towards capital expenditure. With no revenue expenditure in this department, the Development Plan has been given to the Department of Planning.
A total of Rs 3,544.34 crore has been allocated for revenue expenditure in the overall budget. The overall capital expenditure allocation in the budget is Rs 411.30 crore. The total allocation made for both revenue and capital expenditure in the BMC budget was Rs 3,955.64 crore for the year.
