There are some fields and subjects that are ready to grow up with the upcoming support of the enlarged capex. One of these areas is construction, and Hota believes that it is a big subject that will play outside.
“In government capex, about 50% of the roads and railways go into the railway. Therefore, you see good allocation for the Railways this time,” Hota said. Spotlight is on these areas as the allocation is expected to be higher than last year.
He said, “The government is going to give a high target. The budget of the railway can be Rs 2.8 lakh crore to Rs 2.9 lakh crore in the financial year 2025 as compared to Rs 2.6 lakh crore.”
According to Hota, it has been set to promote railway, manufacturing, industrial and capital goods along with other big names like L&T and CG Power. Their pics include L&T, NTPC Green, HCL and BEL with others.
“In the long term, the combination of both the government and private capex will come into the game,” he said.
