Logistics and Supply Chain Company, CCI Group on Thursday announced an additional investment of about Rs 640 crore in the development of a Grade-A Logistics Park at Polvakkam near here.
4PL Integrated Logistics and Supply Chain Company announced investment in the development of 2 million square feet of facility in Charan 2.
A company’s release states, “It follows an investment of Rs 250 crore in the company’s first phase, which strengthens its commitment to expand the world class logistics infrastructure in the field.”
With this latest investment, the CCI Group has allocated a total of Rs 890 crore towards the Polvakkam Logistics Hub, positioning it as a prominent player in the country’s warehousing and supply chain ecosystem, the company said.
“With the emergence of a major logistics and supply chain hub in Chennai South India, this modern facility will complete various types of industries including e-commerce, automotive, fast moving consumer goods and manufacturing,” said this.
Naresh Sharma, Managing Director of CCI Group, said, “Polyvakkam is a major center in CCI’s long -term expansion plans.”
