The serious fog situation in Chennai has operated a flight on Tuesday. The heavy fog in the southern city was cleaned after a while, but not without leaving the flight services.
According to reports, six international flights were turned between 6 am and 7 am on Tuesday, in which some carriers took passengers to nearby cities. Two domestic flights were also diverted due to fog.
International flights from destinations such as Muscat and Dubai were taken to nearby airports in Tirupati and Hyderabad.
Additionally, around 25 flights that were ready to depart from Chennai Airport, experienced a delay of more than 30 minutes due to fog.
The view of the Chennai airport showed a dense layer of fog covering the area.
