  • central excise duty: Basic excise duty of Rs 1.40 per litre, special additional excise duty of Rs 11 per litre, agriculture infrastructure and development cess (AIDC) of Rs 2.50 per litre, and additional excise duty (roads and infrastructure cess) of Rs 5 per litre.
