What not to buy on Dhanteras?
Iron vessel: On the day of Dhanteras, people should often avoid purchasing items made of iron while purchasing utensils. Apart from this, one should not buy steel or aluminum utensils.
Black colored items:Buying black colored items like bags, clothes, shoes, black blanket etc. on the day of Dhanteras is not considered auspicious.
Glass items: It is believed that items made of glass should not be bought on the day of Dhanteras. Glass utensils or glass decorative items should not be purchased on this day.
