Nothing sub-brand CMF has launched its first budget 5G smartphone CMF Phone 1. The biggest feature of Phone 1 is its interchangeable cover. CMF has opted for a screw-ish design which means you can use the bundled screwdriver and remove the panel and give it a fresh upgrade. The phone cover is of three colors: orange, blue, green and black. The company has kept the price of this new phone at Rs 15,999 for the base variant of 6GB + 128GB model, while the price of 8GB + 128GB variant has been kept at Rs 17,999.

You can also take advantage of additional discounts to reduce the price. The sale of CMF Phone 1 will start from July 12 on both online and offline channels.

Under the introductory offer, CMF Phone 1 can be purchased for Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999. The phone comes with different accessories including a case which costs Rs 1,499, and a stand which costs Rs 799.

This phone has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED LTPS display, which includes 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 395ppi pixel density, 240Hz touch sampling rate and 2000 nits peak brightness. The CMF Phone 1 runs on NothingOS 2.6 based on Android 14 and is confirmed to receive two years of major Android updates and three years of security patches.

It runs on the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor with up to 8GB of RAM. The RAM of CMF Phone 1 can be expanded up to 16 GB.

In terms of camera, CMF Phone 1 comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony sensor. It also has a portrait sensor with 2x zoom. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is available in the front of this smartphone.

CMF Phone 1 offers up to 256 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB. For power, the company has equipped its first smartphone with a 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. It has been claimed that the phone gets up to two days of battery life on a single charge.

For connectivity, it includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Type-C port. It has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. This phone has IP52 rating for protection from dust and water.
