Himachal assembly speaker says that Tibetans were born in India after 1987


Tibetans, born in India after 1987, deserve their votes in elections in India, Himachal Assembly President Kuldeep Singh Pathania said in Shimla on Monday.

A statement said that he made this comment during a meeting with a delegation of the Tibetan government.

The Tibetan parliamentary delegation included both Dondup Tashi and Tsering Yangchen, including Shimla, Siyang Fingchok and the Chief Representative of the Tibetan government at Paldan.

The delegation paid the journey to the Tibetan community for expressing gratitude for the support provided by the Government of India and Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

During the meeting, Tibetan MPs accepted India’s long -time hospitality, which has enabled the Tibetan government to work smoothly from its headquarters in Dharamshala.

He emphasized his commitment to the Tibetan freedom movement.

The speaker highlighted deep historical and cultural relations between India and Tibet and said that Tibetans have been living in India for 65 years, working as the sub -station of Tibetan conflict with Dharamshala.

Pathania said, “The Government of India was always deported by the Tibetan government, and our support will continue without any hesitation.”
