The Nifty metal fell 0.82% to a low of 8,824.75. It was trading at a low of 8,824.75 at 10:54 am compared to a decline of 0.40% in NSE Nifty 50.
Around the open, the Nifty metal rose 0.85% to 8,972.60.
JSW Steel Limited and Tata Steel Limited were the top drawers of the Nifty Metal Index, which, as Vedanta Limited, and Wellspun Corp supported the index as 10:56 pm.

Most of the components of Nifty metal were trading in red. APL Apollo Tubes Limited was the top loser with 2.91% intraday loss. By 10:58 am, the stock was trading at a low of Rs 1,406.80 at the lowest level of the day.
Jindal Stainless Limited and Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Limited followed APL Apollo Tubes Limited. They were trading below 3.10% and 1.17% respectively as 11:03 pm
Increasing the trend, Hindustan Copper Limited and Wellspun Corp’s share prices were the leading benefits in Nifty Metal.
