Kia Siros will be introduced in the global market on 19 December. After this, this SUV will be brought before the public for the first time in the Bharat Mobility Show to be held in January.

New Delhi. Kia India is preparing to launch its new SUV Siros in the Indian market. According to reports, the company has also started booking offline of this car at some dealerships. Siros will be positioned between Sonnet and Celtose in Kia’s existing portfolio, making it an attractive option for mid-segment SUV buyers.

Kia Siros will be introduced in the global market on 19 December. After this, this SUV will be brought before the public for the first time in the Bharat Mobility Show to be held in January. According to media reports, its initial ex-showroom price can be around Rs 9 lakh. The delivery is likely to begin in late January or early February.

Multiple engine and transmission options
This SUV will be offered with many engines and transmission options like Sonnet in terms of performance. The entry-level variant is expected to get a 1.2-liter natural aspirated petrol engine, which will generate 82bhp power and 115Nm torque. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Apart from this, there will also be an option of 1-liter turbo petrol engine, which will give 118bhp power and 172Nm torque. With this engine, an option of 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and 6-speed clutchless manual transmission will be available.

There will be a 1.5-liter engine option for diesel engine fans, which will generate 114bhp power and 250Nm torque. This engine will come with a 6-speed clutchless manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Who will compete with?
Interestingly, in the Indian market, Kia Siros is not currently competing with any other SUV. It is specially designed for customers who want a car with powerful features and performance at affordable prices.

How much this new offering of Kia India will create a blast in the market, it will be known only after the launch and sale. At the moment, tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the customers regarding this SUV.
